I like how the NLT translates Deuteronomy 10:12-13.  It reminds me of a quote, which I can only paraphrase as, "The call of Christ is easy.  All you have to do is die."  I like to read the passage this way:

“And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you?

He requires only that you fear the Lord your God,

and live in a way that pleases him,

and love him

and serve him with all your heart and soul.

And you must always obey the Lord’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today

for your own good.

That's all you have to do.  No problem.

Hello Scott,
You made your site simple yet elegant. I see that God is foremost in your mind as you go about your daily activities. Now is a good time! I recommend the one true God, Jehovah.
I want to help people to really get to know God, especially in these troubled times. Here is an important message for all of us from the Bible: "And those slain by Jehovah will certainly come to be in that day from one end of the earth clear to the other end of the earth. They will not be bewailed, neither will they be gathered up or be buried. As manure on the surface of the ground they will become." (Jeremiah 25:33) (YLT)
